Brutal death metal at its best! Fast blast beats and brutal grinding vocals! No idea what they were singing about – but who gives a shit - if I want a story I’ll read a book! They killed it! These guys look mean and play even meaner! The crowd was there to have their ass kicked - and Corpsehater delivered! The singer sounds just like Chris Barnes - so i f you’re a fan of Cannibal Corpse, this is your band!!

Heavy riffs and cool Sci-fi lyrics! What’s not to like? If you’re a fan of Blaze Bayley’s solo work, this is definitely the band for you. With band member names like Alan Smithy and Tom Cruise, I think they are very much going for a Hollywood action movie vibe. The highlight for me was a blazing fast drum solo in the middle of the set while the others went off stage. Damn Tom Cruise is a great drummer - not that Tom Cruise!

Banging out an eclectic set of originals filled with cool riffs and great vocals, Crispy Danger also did the best covers of Ace of Spades and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath I’ve heard! These guys have a killer singer that can do anything! A three piece that plays like a five piece - with band members hitting FX like Rush back in the day! The bassist is a smoking hot redhead chick who was jumping around like she was playing to an arena. At one point, the guitarist played a solo while lifting the guitar straight into the air above his head – I’ve got no idea how he pulled it off - but it kicked ass!

The first show in almost 8 years for Freezing Fog. Aimless, joyless, noise wall. I can’t say I enjoyed it - but it beats staying home.

Religious Observance didn’t just play a show at The Last Chance — they summoned something! At one point, the band let loose a five‑minute noise passage — feedback, pedal manipulation, and droning textures. It shouldn’t have worked, but in the context of the set, it felt like a cleansing breath before the next onslaught. Hard shit for hard cunts.

No intro. No warning. No “Hey, how’s everyone doing tonight.” They just launched into the first track like fuck it! The guitarist played with the intensity of a man who’s on meth. The drummer? I’m convinced he was trying to beat the drum kit into a different dimension. Honestly, I was too drunk to remember much more.

Nothing kicks off the year like a hardcore punk show! Five bands - no bullshit!
NO WORK NO GODS NO MASTERS
PROTEAM opened with a compact, high‑velocity set that immediately set the tone: short songs, shouted choruses, and a rhythm section that refused to let the momentum drop. TIMEPEACE followed with a slightly more metallic edge, stretching riffs into bruising breakdowns that got the punters going. ORGAN DONOR and AWAKE NOW each brought their own sound — ORGAN DONOR’s riffs were raw and jagged while AWAKE NOW leaned into chantable hooks. NO TRUCE closed the night with the kind of full‑throttle intensity that left the stage drenched and the crowd spent.
